It is Tomas Hertl. Pretty easily. Erik Karlsson was an absolute pylon last year. Still ok with the puck but he can barely play defense. Anyone who watched could see that Karlsson did not have it this year. He never looked comfortable.


Brent Burns had a down year but he is still a beast.

Actually i take that back. Logan Couture is the best Shark.

Why not?

Right now, the best player is Logan Couture...He has been a steady, consistently good player on both ends of the ice. Hertl is getting there but he is slightly less injury prone than EK65...Meier is making his way up but needs to show more consistency, especially when the team is not playing well. EK65 would be next followed by Vlasic..Steady Eddy is the quiet linchpin of the team alongside Logan. The team fails without either of them. Kane hurts the team with his selfish play at times, and Burns couldn't play D if his life depended on it. I'd move him back to forward. If you've watched any of the Sharks classic games, that where he was when Hertl scored his 4 goals against NYR and was on a line with Jumbo. LeBanc regressed this year on his play, especially on D.
